J-Dann found in
Chinese Calligraphy a certain freedom of expression. She likes the feeling of the brush
filled with ink. From tradition she mainly kept the gesture. J-Dann paints on glazed
papers which allows the ink to run freely under the impulse of her gestures. With the watercolours, another painting with water she conjures up sensitive images of far ocean scenes. |
